(A new challenge nationwide) DV - 3' 24'' - Berlin - 2004 - german from the series basic karaoke Music by Karsten Birtock Played and Arranged by Gonzalo Ortega Vocals: Aron Kramer [EN] The fugacious and fragmentary figure of a job-seeker walk in the city while in background a chorus sings a song about the labour market. The song is a collage of typical and singular words and phrases from letters of application and job offers. The video invites to reflect about the present labour market’s demands in relation to the job-seeker situation, as well as the use of german language in labour market. [DE] Die flüchtige und nur teilweise sichtbare Gestalt eines anonymen Arbeitssuchender wandert durch die Stadt während im Hintergrund ein Chor ein Lied über die Arbeitsmarkt singt. Das Lied ist eine Collage aus typische und singulare Sätze und Wörter aus Bewerbungsbriefen und Stelleangeboten. Das Video möchte die Ansprüche des jetzigen Arbeitsmarkts im Gegesatz zu den Bedürfnissen der Arbeitssuchenden in Frage stellen sowie den Sprachgebrauch des deutschen Sprache im Arbeitsmarkt sichtbar machen. [ES] La imagen fugaz y fragmentada de un desempleado transita por la ciudad mientras al fondo un coro canta una canción acerca del mercado laboral. La canción es un collage de frases y palabras típicas y singulares de solicitudes y ofertas de empleo. El video intenta cuestionar las exigencias del actual mercado laboral en relación a las necesidades de las personas en busca de empleo así como resaltar el uso del idioma alemán en el mercado laboral. |
